A garden can tell us a lot about a person, you might be a Social Butterfly, Playful Parent, Foodie, Mindfulness Master, or Busy Bee, and your garden will probably reflect this (or you’ll be, at the very least, pining for this).
For the Social Butterfly, an outgoing individual who enjoys entertaining friends, their garden can be the perfect place to set the scene, gather loved ones and have a special time in the great outdoors.
From expanses of lawn for mingling over drinks, terraces with plenty of space for outdoor dining or cosy little town-house patios with candles and an array of inviting flowers, whatever the shape and size of their garden, the extrovert will ensure their guests have the very best time.
In an article in The Guardian, in 2016, Garden Designer, Charlie Hart, comments: “…the extrovert charges their battery through being with other people so expect an extrovert’s garden to serve the same goal. …the extrovert wants a series of sensibly laid out spaces that can be used for gatherings. A sensible extrovert will attempt to turn their garden into a jolly
green destination that can be enjoyed by as many other people as possible, because of course this makes it more enjoyable for them.”
Having worked on a fair few projects for clients who love to use their garden for entertaining, we work hard to provide them with the best use for their space. We’re always excited to include desirable extras in our design scheme, from pizza ovens, built-in outdoor BBQ/kitchens, extravagant sound systems to optimise entertaining opportunities, and
heating features, to ensure the British weather doesn’t dampen spirits on social occasions.
If you’re a social butterfly who wants to get more from your garden, our landscape designers would love to meet you and discuss how they could transform your garden to reflect the true you. Drop us a line or give us a call.
