Celebrating our BALI National Landscape Award 2019 – Domestic Construction

We’re thrilled to bits to have scooped a prestigious British Association of Landscape Industries (BALI) National Landscape Award in the Domestic Construction category.

The BALI awards demand the highest professional standards. The judging criteria for award submissions is intensive. It was no mean feat! Incredibly high expectations all around, but we expected nothing less and rose to the challenge.

The judging criteria included:
  • the interpretation of the client’s brief
  • the complexity of the project
  • quality of workmanship
  • choice and use of materials
  • success in overcoming significant challenges
  • client satisfaction
  • thoughtful use of innovation or technology
  • environmental impact
  • strong design and implementation.
“A tremendous achievement”

Wayne Grills, Chief Executive, BALI, said: “The standards of entries submitted this year has been phenomenal. [Isola Garden Design] have demonstrated exemplary standards of professional excellence which is a tremendous achievement.

“It’s clear our members are some of the world’s most talented, highly skilled landscape professionals… Using cutting-edge technology and incorporating state-of-the-art materials helps to define these schemes and sets them on pedestals that are in a league of their own.”

We are beyond thrilled with our achievement. It’s incredibly special to gain highly sought-after industry recognition. Isola is deeply committed to delivering the highest quality, and we always strive to go above and beyond.

Challenging curveballs

The winning garden certainly came with its challenges. Despite the many curveballs, our attention to detail and creativity meant we created a garden that the client was “beyond delighted” with.
