Established in 2006, we have built an impressive and respected portfolio of garden design and builds for private residences across Warwickshire, Stratford-Upon-Avon, Solihull, Oxfordshire and the Cotswolds.

Isola can design and build you a garden that you can enjoy whatever the weather or season. Creating architectural interest to be enjoyed on even the greyest of days and creating the illusion of space in the smallest of gardens.

We are known and trusted for our thoughtful, innovative and intuitive designs. Some of our proud accolades include five stars in the trade stand category at the RHS Malvern Spring Festival, 2018; a collaboration with BALI and Designer, Jane Bingham; a Silver Gilt medal at The Chelsea Flower Show for the build of Mike Robert’s inspiring rooftop garden design with Warwickshire College and our Gold Medal from the regional heats of the BALI Landscape Skills Competition.

Who we are

We are a trusted team of ambitious landscape designers, experienced garden construction experts and dedicated project managers that deliver inspirational garden ideas and an all-round high-calibre service.

Each team member has spent many years honing their craft, and we all share a united desire to embrace innovative new techniques and strive for excellence in everything we do. We follow a strict code of conduct as a member of the respected British Association of Landscape Industries (BALI) and firmly believe in upholding high standards.

James Brash, MD and Founder of Isola Garden Design launched the business in 2006 after soaking up specialist landscape garden knowledge – both hands-on and academically at Moreton Morrell Horticultural College.

Whilst striving for excellence, he believes attention to detail is key to the success of any project and has cultivated a team environment where everyone takes huge pride in their work and strives for perfection.

How we work

Right from the outset, we provide a personal client service and bespoke project management to ensure we are versatile to the needs of each client. We wholeheartedly believe that communication is key to success, so we encourage an honest and transparent relationship right from the off to establish trust.

Step One

Following your initial enquiry, a member of our team will visit your home for a consultation to establish your project requirements and fully understand your lifestyle and brief.

Step Two

After your consultation, you will receive a design proposal outlining our design fees for your project. Should you choose to commission us to create your perfect outdoor space, we will allocate you a designer, to suit your style, who will meet with you to take a comprehensive brief.

Step Three

A topographical survey will be conducted by a land surveyor to provide us with a detailed and accurate scaled layout plan of the existing landscape. This allows your designer to produce accurate, scaled design drawings using CAD (Computer Assisted Design).

Step Four

The team will then brainstorm, research, develop a concept design and mood board, determine project timescales, plants, materials and costs. Your detailed design and project plan is then presented to you.

Step Five

The landscape installation begins. You will be assigned a dedicated project manager who you can liaise with throughout the project. Our team of professionals are always respectful on-site and fully appreciate they are working in your home. We will have regular progress meetings, and no project is complete until you’re 100% happy with your new garden.

Step Six

We offer ongoing after-care maintenance support to our clients to ensure your garden is nurtured appropriately throughout the year.
